Hailing from Manchester, Rupert Taylor, aka xxxy, is one of bass music’s most forward thinking producers. His tracks Ordinary Things and You Always Start It have not left either my sets or my head since I first picked them up a month or so ago. In his productions, xxxy fuses influences from garage, house and dubstep and creates a sound which sets him apart from his peers. Since his first release on Mindset in 2009 xxxy has been gaining a loyal following of fans and his tunes have been receiving play from some of the biggest names in the bass music scene.
